The New York State Comptroller's Office of Unclaimed Funds (OUF) maintains over 35 million account records representing $14.5 billion in lost money. They receive 1,000 claims every day through their automated Online Claiming System. Learn how the self-service application was implemented and the continuous development that's made it possible for more than $1 billion to be returned to rightful owners.

This informative presentation will include:

  • Study of a successful project implementation - what worked, what didn't, and how they stayed on budget and timeline;
  • How business analysis and data analytics shaped future system enhancements;
  • How self-service changed their business - viewpoints from employees and customers

  • Kelly Kuracina, Assistant Bureau Director NY State Comptroller's Office of Unclaimed Funds
