Do you work on analytics projects today or are you thinking about how to more effectively leverage analytics? Have you ever wanted to connect with others like you or those who have done what you are trying to achieve?

If you answered yes to these questions, we invite you to join us at the New York State Forum's Data and Analytics Community of Interest (COI) Kick-Off Roundtable Event! At this event, you will have the opportunity to hear about lessons in data and analytics learned from other state agencies, engage in dialogues about these lessons, and grow your network of data and analytics professionals across the New York State government.

This event takes on a format that is unique to the NYS Forum in that rather than having a series of presentations, all attendees will have the opportunity to participate by not only asking questions, but also sharing their experiences and vetting ideas. Set in roundtable style, the COI will facilitate an interactive conversation and networking event where we will discuss:

  • The Art of Getting Started - what are the realities of beginning a data and analytics project?
  • The Art of the Practical - how do you support a data and analytics project given the considerations and constraints of the public sector?
  • The Art of the Possible - what are current successful public sector projects in New York State and across the nation?
