Please join your peers July 10th for the monthly SharePoint Community of Practice Meeting. The purpose of a NYS Forum Community of Practice group is to provide a setting for the community to focus on a technology established in NYS government. The NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) has adopted a single operating platform, Office365, for consolidated Office applications and email in a cloud based system for the agencies ITS supports. It is important that staff make the best use of the available enterprise tools. The goal of this group is to maximize the utilization of the SharePoint platform in ways which will assist NYS government to increase the efficiency of business processes.

Community of Practice presentations and discussions are provided by your peers in the SharePoint community. What topics would you like to have presented? Would you like to share your experience with the community? Please email [email protected] with your suggestions or comments.

Best Practices for Building a Project Repository

The NYS Forum Project Management Workgroup and the SharePoint CoP have developed an informative program on building project repositories. A panel of project managers and SharePoint experts will share experience and insight followed by a SharePoint demonstration of a repository build.
