Presentation Overview

This will be the fourth in a series focusing on recognizing and building a "Culture of Innovation" in NYC government. Upcoming in the series will be a presentation on the TreesCount! project.

Innovation is not just a buzz word; every employee regardless of their role in their organization can innovate! These sessions will allow staff to see why and how others in government have developed innovative solutions in addressing ordinary challenges to the benefit of the people of New York.

This presentation will focus on the innovative and unique manner in which NYC has developed the LinkNYC project. LinkNYC is a first-of-its-kind communications network that will replace over 7,500 pay phones across the five boroughs with new structures called Links. Each Link will provide superfast, free public Wi-Fi, phone calls, device charging and a tablet for Internet browsing, access to city services, maps and directions.

Join us in these sessions that are sure to inspire innovation in you!
